Filofax
Filofax is a ring-bound personal organizer and diary system that was widely popularized in the 1980s. It serves as a physical planner for organizing daily schedules, appointments, contacts, notes, and financial records.
The Filofax became an iconic personal productivity tool during the 1980s, widely used by professionals before the rise of digital calendars and planners. It featured interchangeable pages, leather or fabric covers, and a range of inserts for different organizational needs.
Filofax was designed to centralize time management, contact information, scheduling, and note-taking in a single portable system. Users could customize their organizer with various inserts for calendars, address books, expense trackers, and project planning pages.
Despite the dominance of digital alternatives, Filofax remains available and in use by individuals who prefer analog planning methods. The product line has evolved to include modern designs and refill systems while maintaining the classic ring-bound format.
